We have just hired two assistants, including an underwater photo instructor, but they are not on the island yet. We may be looking for one more, preferably with PADI instructor rating. Talents we can use include boat handling, Adobe photoshop CS3, Mac computer skills, bookkeeping and retailing. None of these skills involve full time, so someone with two or more skills would be preferred. Having knowledge of photography and retail experience are all helpful, but we can teach the right person. We look for people with cheerful personalities who enjoy teaching. This position involves a lot of above water work as well as time underwater teaching classes. Long term employees (over one year) and non-smokers only, please. A typical day starts at 7:30 am, and morning duties include teaching, sending out camera rentals, daily cleaning; individual duties including print assembly, retailing (including sales, displays, inventory, ordering) and answering customer's questions on digital cameras. Each employee has a particular area of responsibility, with others sharing in the work. Courses are usually taught in the afternoon and staff take digital stills of the guests underwater at Stingray city on certain days, plus the daily 2-tank dive when needed.

We have a great team here at the photo centre, and we pride ourselves in having a wonderful staff. During your two days off each week, you can enjoy unlimited shore diving and boat diving (space dependant) for free! And, of course, our warm weather is also available for free to all employees every day!
