Kat Ramage

Holding tight at 39 (and yes, the knuckles turned white long ago), this sparky Texas gal started diving in 1983 and caught the Cathy Church bug after taking one of her famed Supercourses in the mid 90s. A PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Kat has traveled all over the world to fuel her passion for diving and underwater photography. In 2004 these adventures led her to her dream job--to work with Cathy in the Cayman Islands.

Kat's our lead instructor and office manager--handling the emails, booking the classes and photo tours. She has been improving her skills in Photoshop and recently took up Dreamweaver; hopefully soon she'll be adding webmaster to her many titles. Kat has a wicked sense of humor and is especially fond of fine Tequila, albeit only on special occasions! She shoots primarily with the Nikon D200 and the Olympus SP350, but occasionally has the sublime pleasure of shooting Cathy's D2X in the Subal housing.

TheunisTheunis Neethling

Don't try to pronounce it, we just call him "Tee." He hails from South Africa and has been in Grand Cayman almost a year. His fiancee joined him here a few months ago and they had a lovely sunset wedding just before Christmas at Grand Old House. Theunis is still on cloud nine since their marriage (we think his lovely wife Karien is happy too, but it's often hard for her to get a word in edgewise). Tee is a NAUI instructor, and continues to work on his own underwater photography with the Olympus SP350. He's improving rapidly and is a good teacher. He also crews Cathy's boat the M/Y Photo Journey when we have charter guests.

Mark Tarsh Mark Tarsh

Mark comes to us from the U.K. but was originally from Kenya. Mark started diving at the age of 12 while in Africa. Fast forward 26 years when his fiancee was offered a job in the Cayman Islands; she gave him the choice to join her here in paradise or to move on. Needless to say he's here with us now. He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and loves to teach underwater video in addition to still photography. He shoots a Sony PDX10 DV camcorder in a Light & Motion housing as well as a Nikon D80 in a Sea&Sea housing. Mark is also a keen sailor and power boater. He and his lovely fiancee Rachel will be tying the knot at the end of March.
